Our Volunteers
Legambiente Lecco gathers the subscription of about 150 members in the Lecco area. Our operative volunteers are about thirty people. They are mostly young people with less than 30 years, with the addition of the experience of historical members who continue to support the activities of the club.
Volunteers are involved in all the activities of the association, with joy, enthusiasm and desire to take part in a non-conventional political activity. The wish is to achieve in a simple and immediate way the change we want to see in the world, while remaining faithful to the motto "Think globally, act locally." The involvement in active citizenship projects coincides with reliability and scientific methodology in the stances of the association, which also avails of professional or academic skills of its volunteers.
The structure of the association holds together the volunteers’ spontaneous desire for change and action and the need to manage those formalities that keep the association operative.
